PKLEAKS 21.0: Bashir Memon to join PML-N:The accountability witch-hunt has always been a farce

A new day and a new leak for our voracious readers with our 21st article, in this series of highlighting our regime's wrongdoings at the expense of its citizenry.

Our country's history has been ripe with stories reflecting those with political views dissenting from the establishment or its puppet political parties are held accountable or declared traitors.

The story unfolding here is that of our retired director-general of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Bashir Memon. He went on a national television channel and accused our sitting prime minister of pressuring him to book his political opponents Maryam , Khawaja Asif, and Justice Qazi Faez Isa in fabricated cases. This should have been nothing less than a bombshell.

But the point to worry here is this only led to mere protestations in the media and concluded at sending of defamation notice to Memon. This should otherwise have rung a bell for a judicial probe on a speedy basis, as these are very serious allegations leveled by the former head of a top law-enforcement agency.

Now after all these farcical episodes, we bring to you the real interesting story where Ishaq Dar, our beloved Ex-Finance Minister and PML-N Leader, himself on political asylum in UK, offered Mr. Bashir Memon a berth in PML-N on April 28, 2021. Ishaq Dar was also learnt to assure Mr. Memon of an important portfolio in PML-N whenever it comes to the corridors of power.

Now, leaving you readers with a serious question (till we publish our next leak) to whom do we next handover the reins of power of our country ?
