PKLEAKS 36.0: Minority Persecution Continues - Hindu girls kidnapped and exploited
Welcome to "PKLEAKS_36.0".....
Our reputation as a country which values pluralism and minority rights, is getting spoiled
ever since the current government has taken over. Even though the matter would be of less concern
to most of us, we being the majority, the stories of minority exploitation going viral in international
media significantly damages the credibility of our country and weakens our fight for justice to minorities
in India.
The latest in the saga of events, happens to be the kidnapping of three Hindu girls by Muslim men in two
separate incidents in Sangad and Umerkot districts, respectively. As usual the police remained
insensitive and took no tangible action in both incidents. The photographs of the kidnapped girls(including a minor)
and a video featuring their parents(viral in the Internet), describing their plight is hurting
the conscience of every Muslim, who is truthful in his belief.
With our country announcing its first ever national security policy and our able NSA tweeting frequently on
good experiences shared by foreigners about the hospitality in our country, it's high time he spoke to
our own citizens and more importantly our minority fellow citizens.
