PKLEAKS 37.0: Government disowns our students in Ukraine

    Welcome to "PKLEAKS_37.0".....

No matter whatever said and done, Most rulers and their governments stand with their citizens in a time of crisis and emergency, the latest one being the Ukranian conflict. Unfortunately, Pakistani students in Ukraine are left unattended, with their safety and security fully subjected to destiny.

Not to forget, our Prime Minister had a ceremonious meeting with Russian President followed by a celebrated discussion with affluent investors, some days back in Moscow. Despite becoming privy to the Russian masterplan, it is disturbing to find him taking no timely steps to ensure safe return of our students to Pakistan. It is unfortunate that his knowledge and grasp in history did not make him appreciate the paramount importance of timely rescue operation in a war-prone environment.

For those of us, who are well aware of our government and its way of functioning, the episode is not surprising. The government only cares for a few elites and believes that it has got business only in the business of elite business men, not of students.

While our PM was busy in giving TV interviews in Russia, rulers of responsible governments had sleepless nights, working out a rescue plan for their respective students and citizens.
